I've used insure.ie the last few years as they give a choice of quotes, etc. Saved a lot of phoning around. I noticed a significant drop once > 35-36 yrs but maybe the market changed at the same time to give more competition, etc..
No car these days so I had the pleasure of ignoring my last renewal notice.

Dunno. Only seems to happen with them. Unless I've hit an age tipping point.
