No Pat, Bombay Palace is on Cook St. You're thinking of Eastern Tandoori - not a bad spot either, but the staff could be a bit friendlier. Would like to meet Paul while he is here, but it looks like I will be out of town on Monday.
Hello, anybody there? :::echo::: ... I'm scared. This room doesn't look familiar to me and it's full of weird looking people who haven't seen the light of day for years. :::Walking backwards steadily towards the corner of a dark room, shivering with the fright:::
I was in Rossini's just before xmas. Their steak was fantastic. I wouldn't go back to the Eastern Tandoori after our last visit - it's really gone downhill. I haven't eaten in the Bombay Palace for a while - I have real craving for a vegetable biryani. Boqueria would be good too.
My vote is for Rossini's but I'm flexible. We should pick something soon so I can book it. We have 6 people so far (conor, damien, pat, aido, Paul and myself).
Guys, do you mind if we book the table for say, 8pm and arrange to meet up for drinks before hand? That'll give Aido and I some time to get down without holding up dinner :)

I'd be up for a really good italian too, particularly one that knows its antipasti

Wondering if you guys could stop chatting about restaurants until after I've had lunch.

Rossini's is superb and gets my vote, my only requirement on night is no mention of the F word

So it looks like Rossini's then. If Walter books, I'll update the blogposts.

@PaulW OK if I book for 7pm? Do people want to meet for a drink beforehand? Clancy's is just across the street.
